Eligibility Criteria for the German Government Wascal Scholarship 2025:
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Be a citizen of one of the 12 eligible West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
Possess a Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper Division or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Have at least an intermediate level of proficiency in English.
Other ECOWAS member countries may be admitted as self-funded students, depending on availability.
