Internship Duties

• Interns will be assigned the following tasks from Monday to Thursday:

• Agriculture Planting

• Weeding Trellising Irrigation

• Upholding

• Harvesting

• Crop washing

Activities Throughout the Internship

• Monday to Thursday: Work on Farms

• Friday: Lectures, Discussions, and Farm Tours

• Farm design

• Various aspects of vegetable production

• Soil and farm ecosystem health

• Social issues surrounding food

Experiential Learning:

• Farm excursions

• Volunteering at other farmers and community gardens

Managerial Roles (Rotation):

• Farm stand administration

• Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) management

• Record maintaining

• Outreach

Personal Project:

• Planning, sowing, and overseeing Vegetable Beds

• Record-keeping and harvesting for individual plots.
