Starting May 26, 2025, Saint Kitts and Nevis will introduce a new Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system for travelers coming from visa-exempt countries. This initiative seeks to improve border security and simplify the entry process for visitors.

🌍 What is the eTA for Saint Kitts and Nevis?

The eTA serves as a digital pre-entry authorization necessary for travelers from visa-exempt nations planning to visit Saint Kitts and Nevis. The eTA streamlines the entry process, enabling travelers to secure authorization online prior to their journey, in contrast to traditional visas. This system positions Saint Kitts and Nevis alongside countries such as the UK, Canada, and Australia, all of which utilize comparable electronic travel authorization systems.

🛂 Who Should Submit an Application?

Visitors from visa-exempt nations intending to travel to Saint Kitts and Nevis must secure an eTA. The length of stay allowed differs from one country to another:

  • 30 Days: Residents of Belarus, China, Indonesia, and Macau.

  • 27 Days: The People of Cuba.
