A2: Semester/partial studies for undergraduate or graduate students (4-10 months).
B: Completion of a full undergraduate (BA) or graduate (MA) program (36 or 24 months).
C1: Completion of a full PhD program (36 months).
C2: Partial PhD courses or research (one to ten months).
D: Postdoctoral research or studies (one to ten months).
E: Postdoctoral research visits that are short-term, lasting between three and twenty-nine days.
F: Two-week summer seminar on Croatian language and literature.
Application Pool 2: Scholarships for the Study of the Croatian Language
Regardless of bilateral agreements, these scholarships are available to students of Slavic studies or Croatian language and literature. The subsequent categories are accessible:
A1: Semester studies for Croatian language pupils, which last for 4-5 months.
F: Two-week summer seminar on Croatian language and literature.

Eligibility Criteria for the Croatian Government Scholarships 2025-2026:
For Application Pool 1, applicants must be citizens of countries that have legitimate bilateral agreements with Croatia.
For the majority of scholarships, a minimum of two semesters must be completed at the native institution.
A bachelor's degree is required for MA programs, a master's degree is required for PhD programs, and a PhD degree is required for postdoctoral research.
Language Proficiency: For Croatian language programs, a minimum B1 level of Croatian is required.
For other programs, proficiency in either English or Croatian is required, contingent upon the program.
Age Limit: Applicants for the BA, MA, and PhD programs are required to be at least 30 years old.
Postdoctoral researchers and language program applicants are not subject to an age restriction.
